Pressure Reducing Valves (PR)

This valve maintains a preset downstream pressure regardless of inlet pressure or flow fluctuation. The valve is controlled by a 3-way, has a pilot (which allows full opening when the waters are low, the pressure drops below the set point) or a 2-way pilot valve (creating a pressure differential in any condition).

The valve serves to maintain the pressure-relief valves (PS), also keeps up (entry) pressure regardless of flow variations. The valve is in position "closed" if the inlet pressure drops below the set-up. Fully opened when the inlet pressure exceeds the set point.

Quick Relief Safety Valves (QR) This valve opens instantly when the pressure in the pipeline, has exceeded the level of security, relieving excess pressure in the network. When the pressure returns to normal, the valve closes slowly, at an adjustable speed.
