a built-in calibration chamber allows the user to calibrate the meter with the push of a button. altitude and salinity values are manually entered during calibration while temperature is automatically sensed and compensated for.
large, backlit display simultaneously provides oxygen and temperature readings. the 550a features a 2000-hour battery life and a field replaceable sensor module (the probe module should last for several years). select from meters with 12-, 25- and 50-ft cable lengths.
